As of noon yesterday, March 31, my project fund,
"Real Eyes" on Kickstarter was successfully backed. It not only met it's $1,000 goal, but surpassed it by hitting a final total of
$1,105 with 21 wonderful and generous backers.
The Kickstarter project was the icing on top of the cake of amazing people in my life that helped make this trip happen. Other outlets of support included, but were not limited to:
-snail mail donations
-slight of hand money tranfers
-purchasing beautiful, karin mellin original, art to cover up some blank wall space
-refusing to let me open my wallet at dinner because "I have to finance France"
